Miyakojima Sea Turtle Snorkeling Tour

• Can I join if I can’t swim?

  Yes. Non-swimmers are welcome to join. You will wear a life jacket, and the guide will stay nearby to support you throughout the tour. Please let our staff know on the day if you have any concerns.

• What age can children join from?

  Children can join from age 0. We provide child-sized snorkeling equipment and can also arrange babysitting services, allowing families with small children to enjoy the ocean in Miyakojima with peace of mind.

• Is transportation available?

  Yes. Round-trip transportation is available. Depending on booking availability, we may ask you to meet us directly at the tour location.

• Are there restrooms and changing rooms at the location?

  Most beaches in Miyakojima do not have restrooms or changing rooms. Please arrive wearing your swimsuit under your clothes and use the restroom before coming to the meeting point.

• Are showers available?

  A simple shower is available for rinsing off sand and seawater.

• Will I receive a refund if we don’t see a sea turtle?

  Sea turtles are wild animals, so sightings cannot be guaranteed. Refunds are not available. However, if you do not see a sea turtle, we will offer you one free retry on another day.

• Can the tour be canceled due to rain?

  Tours generally operate in rainy weather. The tour will only be canceled if the instructor determines that conditions are unsafe. In that case, no cancellation fee will be charged.

• Are there any additional fees?

  Transportation fees may apply in some areas. Wetsuit rental is also available for ¥1,000 per person, including tax, for guests who need one. All other equipment and services are included in the tour price.

• Can I cancel my booking?

  Cancellations made by the day before the tour are free of charge. Please contact us as early as possible if your plans change. Same-day cancellations and no-shows will be charged 100% of the tour price.
